RET Qualification Changes

The FAA has mandated two significant changes to RET pre-work requirements that impact flight attendant qualification effective July 6.
- Flight attendants may only take the RET e-learning within their may-go, training or grace month. RET e-learning taken outside this timeframe will not receive FAA credit and must be repeated within this timeframe for qualification to attend RET classroom.
- Flight attendants will be disqualified from flying upon the second failure of either of the two RET pre-work assessments.
Detailed information will be available in the Skynet RET pre-work packet July 6.
Flight attendants preparing for RET are encouraged to thoroughly read through the pre-work packet prior to beginning the e-learning modules and assessments.
